Awarded on merit after you arrive, from ¥1,000 to ¥20,000. It is not deducted from the fees shown here in advance — you pay those in full and any award follows.

Questions about this programme

Why is the first year more expensive?

The poster gives ¥37,000 for the first year and ¥22,000 for each year after, without a breakdown. First-year totals usually include one-off charges; we will confirm exactly what is in it before you pay.

Do I need to fill in the application, medical and family forms myself?

Yes, but you do not need to find them. We send you blank copies of the JJU application form, the physical examination form and the family information form.

What is the outside-China affiliated hospital training?

Part of the clinical training takes place at an affiliated hospital outside China, charged at ¥5,000. Ask us when it falls in the programme and what it covers before you apply.
