Xiangyang, Hubei

Hubei University of Arts and Science is a public comprehensive university located in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, China. Its history dates back to 1958, and it was renamed Hubei University of Arts and Science in 2012. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate education across a wide range of fields, including medicine, engineering, science, management, education, arts and humanities. It has more than 20,000 full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students and provides a supportive academic environment with modern teaching, research and practical training facilities. The university also welcomes international students and maintains academic cooperation with universities and institutions in several countries.

Xi'an, Shaanxi

One of China's oldest and best-known universities, operating directly under the Ministry of Education. It was founded in Shanghai in 1896 as Nanyang Public School, renamed Jiaotong University in 1921, and moved to Xi'an between 1956 and 1959. Today it is a comprehensive research university with 34 schools and more than 62,000 students, including international students from over 130 countries.

Yichun, Jiangxi

A public university in Yichun, Jiangxi province, with three affiliated teaching hospitals where medical students complete their clinical training. It runs a six-year Clinical Medicine programme for international students, five years of study followed by a one-year internship.

Ganzhou, Jiangxi

A medical university in Ganzhou, within easy reach of Guangzhou. Its MBBS is taught entirely in English with no separate Chinese language year, so students begin medical subjects in the first semester. CSB is an exclusive partner of the university for this programme.

Jiujiang, Jiangxi

Apply by December 2026

A comprehensive public university under the Jiangxi Provincial Government and Jiujiang City Government, at the foot of Mount Lushan — a World Cultural Heritage site and World Geopark. Its origins go back to 1901. Today it has 23 schools, around 32,000 full-time students and 88 undergraduate programmes, with its own university hospital and dentistry hospital. Through China Sourcing Bridge it admits international students to Clinical Medicine and Dental Surgery for the September/October 2026 session.

Wuhan, Hubei

A comprehensive university in Wuhan, the city that connects nine provinces, formed in 2001 from the merger of four institutions. Its campus sits in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone. Both Chemistry and Clinical Medicine rank in the global top 1% by ESI.

Changchun, Jilin

A large national university in Changchun, founded in 1946. CSB places students on its Chinese language programme, which pairs language study with CSCA preparation — the assessment several medical universities now ask for.

Nanning, Guangxi

One of the key universities in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, founded in 1928 and located in the regional capital Nanning. It is a national '211 Project' university and a 'Double First-Class' discipline university, offering a wide range of programmes across science, engineering, agriculture and the humanities. The campus sits in a warm subtropical climate near the Vietnamese border.

Wuhan, Hubei

A public university in Wuhan, Hubei province, running English-taught bachelor degrees in Artificial Intelligence, International Business and Smart Construction. Its Huangjiahu campus is also where CSB's China office is based, so a member of our team is on the ground where our students study.

Panzhihua, Sichuan

A university in Panzhihua, Sichuan province, in a warm subtropical part of south-west China known for its fruit growing and the Ertan Lake scenic area. It teaches international students in English and runs a scholarship route into International Trade and Economy or Computer Science.

Chongqing, Chongqing

Chongqing University is one of the universities China Sourcing Bridge works with, and its Chinese language scholarship programme is processed remarkably fast — admission letters within one working day and JW202 forms in two to three weeks. Chongqing is one of China's four direct-controlled municipalities, known for its dramatic hillside skyline, hot pot cuisine and modern infrastructure.

Shenyang, Liaoning

An undergraduate college in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province in north-east China. CSB works with it directly on a partial scholarship that takes the standard bachelor tuition of ¥16,000 a year down to ¥8,000.

Hangzhou, Zhejiang

CSB's partner university in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province and home to the famous West Lake. The Chinese language programme runs from November to July and accepts students aged 17 to 55 with no service fee. On-campus living is required.

Beijing, Beijing

A public university in Beijing run by the Beijing Municipal Government, known for economics, business, management and law. Through China Sourcing Bridge it admits international students to its Chinese language programme, at ¥9,500 a semester, for ages 18 to 50.

Anyang, Henan

CSB's partner university in Anyang, Henan province, home to the Yin Xu ruins — the ancient capital of the Shang dynasty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Hanyang Anyang Chinese Fellowship Program offers a generous ¥8,000 university scholarship, reducing tuition to an effective ¥3,000 per year.

Dandong, Liaoning

Liaodong University is a public undergraduate university located in Dandong, Liaoning Province, China, near the Yalu River and the Yellow Sea. The university traces its higher-education history to 1948 and was reorganized as Liaodong University in 2003. It offers programs across a wide range of disciplines, including economics, education, literature, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management and arts. The university focuses on applied education, practical skills and international cooperation, providing students with a diverse academic environment in one of China's major border cities.

Guangzhou, Guangdong

Guangzhou University sits in the capital of Guangdong province, one of China's largest cities. Two Chinese language programmes are available through China Sourcing Bridge: a September start with no service fee and a lower age cap, and a November start with rolling admission and the option to live off campus.

A public university in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, with campuses in Guangzhou University Town, on Dongfeng Road and at Longdong. International students can join its Chinese language course at ¥16,000 a year, with on-campus rooms from ¥4,000 a year.

An undergraduate college in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, teaching business, economics and related subjects. Through China Sourcing Bridge it admits international students to its Chinese language course — ¥3,000 a semester after the scholarship, with on-campus rooms at ¥3,000 a semester.

CSB's partner university for fully funded Master's and PhD scholarship programmes. The university offers more than 50 specialisations across colleges of medicine, veterinary medicine, horticulture, engineering, agriculture, business, law, education, humanities, sciences and more. Scholarships cover tuition with a stipend of ¥2,500 to ¥3,500 per month.

Xianyang, Shaanxi

A public university in Xianyang, Shaanxi, beside Xi'an, established jointly by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has more than 16,800 full-time students, 26 undergraduate majors, 15 teaching units and two directly affiliated hospitals, and its clinical medicine and pharmacology are in the global ESI top 1%. It is not the same university as Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine in Shanxi province.

Tangshan, Hebei

A public university in Tangshan, Hebei, teaching nine fields with engineering and medicine as its backbone. It was formed from the merger of Hebei Polytechnic University and North China Coal Medical College, and has more than 45,000 full-time students, including about 310 from abroad. The 2020 U.S. News Best Global Universities ranking placed it 161st in China and 2nd in Hebei. International MBBS students spend their sixth year interning at its affiliated hospital.

Kunming, Yunnan

One of the largest public universities in Yunnan, in the provincial capital Kunming — known across China for its mild climate all year round. It is strongest in engineering, and also teaches medicine, the sciences and management. A public medical university in Shandong, formed in 2019 by joining Taishan Medical University with the Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences.
