A ¥2,000 deposit is due after the pre-admission letter and before the JW202 is applied for. It is non-refundable if you withdraw. Hostel rooms are twin-sharing at ¥9,000 to ¥10,000 a year depending on the hostel allocated, with no hostel security fee. Visa extension, medical check-up and insurance are charged at the government's actual price. Air ticket, food, books, stationery, transport and utilities are not included.
